Boy, some rock stars are just so SPOILED! How old is Roger Waters now? 78? And he still needs to go on a tour? Does anyone know how much money he has? I'm sure he's not worried about the rising cost of living. So why does he need to tour?

I saw all I needed of his interview. He thinks that when you're physically attacked by your neighbour, the thing to do is negotiate. Okay, so if I punch Roger Waters in the face, he should take a step back and ask me what he can do to avoid being punched in the stomach. Great logic.

And what if his precious England were being invaded? Would he insist on negotiations then? Do you see his hypocrisy? Shameful.

We must not surrender to authoritarian regimes. They don't allow freedom of speech. Look how the Russians weren't allowed to say the war was a war. They'd go to prison for it. As for clever bloggers running wild on the internet, do you know what happens to smart people with strong opinions under authoritarian regimes? They're rounded up and taken for a train ride to a gulag somewhere. I'd rather go down fighting.

There's hint of ethnocentrism in Waters's opinion. He thinks of Taiwan and China as the same. Clearly the Taiwanese disagree. He thinks of Ukraine and Russia as the same. Again, the Ukrainians disagree. It's like someone from China or Russia pointing to Europe and making no distinction between the English and the French. How would he like that?

It goes to show you how detached from reality these stars can get. It's really awful. I used to like him, but I won't listen to him anymore. I think he's too big for his own good now. We can't trust him, and maybe he's even a little senile.

That remark about fucking off to the bar if you don't agree with his propaganda is cute. Good luck getting your ticket refunded on the way out.

Still, I want to be fair with this man. He's a great songwriter, a poet. I don't need to listen to his music anymore; it's in my head and my heart. I wouldn't hate you for wanting to see his show. I just hope you keep your eyes closed while you're listening. Remember, just because a guy can write a great song doesn't mean he has all the answers.

Tools of Oppression My foot is still hurting, but I work on it anyway. Not much fun going to a warehouse job with a sore foot. We have no more doctors or nurses in Canada. They've all moved to the U.S. for bigger paychecks. If you get hurt in Canada, you just have to do without medical attention. I noticed a police van outside my place of employment at around 11:45pm last night (Saturday night). It reminded me of all the times that cops would come around to check on the lies about me that circulate on the internet. They sure tell a lot of nasty lies about me behind my back, eh?
